NEWSPAPER NAILS

Materials Needed:

-A couple tablespoons rubbing alcohol 
(or a shot of greg goose that you find on your counter...)
- a strip of newspaper
- nailpolish
-top coat
-scissors
- nail polish remover
(if you have to take your 2 month old, chipped nail polish off... like me. oops)


STEP ONE:
Paint your nails with at least 2 coats ( we found that white or any lighter color works the best, wouldn't recommend bright colors or something that the words from the newspaper will have to fight for for attention)


STEP TWO:
Cut out little sections of your paper that will fit your fingernail fully.


STEP THREE:
Dip the cut piece of newspaper into the rubbing alcohol and place on your fingernail. Hold it there for at least 20 seconds.


STEP FOUR:
And there you have it:
Newspaper nails!


So its not the best paint job in the world, and a close up of my fingers is just a reminder of why my friends call me grandma hands... but I still like the finished product.
