I've gotten to hang out all week with my fifth graders from student teaching. Although they use profanity in the hallway, talk incessantly while I try to teach fractions, attempt throwing paper airplanes across the room (in the middle of my lessons), they are the reason that I want to have my own classroom. 


I walked into the house tonight with these two love birds admiring their Save the Date's they received in the mail. 


Mom got free tickets for "Joyful Noise", a.k.a. "Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton wishing they were Whoopi Goldberg from Sister Act, but not coming close". It's not often that you walk into a theatre, before a movie starts, being serenaded by a church choir. 


Despite the fact that my drive home was a bit frightening, I still rebelliously snatched my phone and took a picture of the blizzard. Snow Day tomorrow?!?
