Got to celebrate my beautiful mother all night on Saturday night. Fancy dinner at Ruth Chris. $50 steaks. Reisling for dad. Cheesy toasts. 

After dinner, we got mom into the car and blindfolded her with my purple scarf. We pulled up to my house, walked her up the icy walkway and walked her right into the middle of the livingroom. Little did she know, surrounding her were so many friends and family who loved her dearly and were ready to celebrate the crap out of her. I counted to 3 with my fingers and then whipped the blindfold off, resulting in a loud "surprise" and the party was started...

All of the roomates were in attendance :)

I love this woman more than she knows. She's an amazing example of what a Godly woman looks like. I don't know many people who live with as much passion and love for life. I hope to have as much joy and drive when I'm 50 :)
