I happened to stumble upon letters from my fifth graders last semester, while working on my teaching portfolio this evening. Just another reminder of why I want to go into this career. 

" Ok. I would have to say you're the best student teacher anyone could have. I know that you will miss me, but it's ok. I'll miss you too".

" I don't know if you know this but all of the boys have secret crushes on you..."

"I know you can fall asleep easiy when your in your comfy chair, and don't even regret it or argue about it. You are a very good teacher and our class has high expectations for you". 

...Who knew that fifth graders could be so inspirational?
