I get the priveledge of subbing in an art room for the week. This just seems to reinforce my innability to draw a simple cat, dog or dragon. I now know why I didn't sign up to do Art education in college. As I sat at the table demonstrating how to draw a dragon to the kindergarteners today, one of them raised his hand and asked, "Aw you shaw yaw an awt teacha?" (in his adorable speech impediment voice).... point proven. I'll stick to the general ed classroom. 

The parentals finally got home from their two week annual "your mother needs a vacation in February" extravaganza. I'm glad they're home. Not because I've missed getting dinners paid for or for trips to Costco with mom, but because as crazy as these two are, I love them so stinkin much. 

Dad insisted on a "hands in the middle" at the end of dinner today. Yep, we were "that family" in Applebees tonight folks...
