 The married couple struggling a bit to figure out the tickets...

 After our interesting experience on the subway, we waited for three hours on the lawn of the U.S. Capitol building for the Memorial Day concert. 

 Daughtry, Colin Powell, and Trace Adkins all made appearances...

... the concert was interrupted by the police saying "there is severe weather coming, please seek shelter..." Of course this resulted in being herded like cattle off the premises and the decision of quick and easy taxi ride back to the hotel... or an overcrowded, smelly, claustrophobic subway...

 Luckily the taxi ride was the winner.
