The day of dealership hopping and car hunting with the parentals. 
I have to admit, I know I should've been excited for it, but I was dreading it a bit. 
...It actually turned out to be a pretty phenomenal day. After many visits to all of the different dealerships and countless test drives (including an unexpected convertible ride for mom), we finally stumbled into the VW dealership...
 ... and I found my new baby. 
...followed by a cookout at Josh's house.
